Fresh details have emerged about Batman: Arkham Knight’s Harley Quinn DLC thanks to e-commerce company Amazon.

A synopsis put up on the company’s website regarding the Harley Quinn DLC reads:

“For the first time in the Arkham series take on the role of Joker’s psychotic side-kick Harley Quinn and wreak havoc inside the Blüdhaven Police Department. With this exclusive Story Pack experience events in the lead-up to Arkham Knight as you infiltrate Blüdhaven to rescue your partner in crime: Poison Ivy. Delve deep into Harley’s demented nature and utilize her devastating baseball bat to smash, crash and bash your way to a friend very much in need.”

The events of the Harley Quinn DLC preceeds the events of Batman:Arkham Knight and will see Harley Quinn attempt to free Poision Ivy from prison. Harley Quinn, who first appeared in Batman: The Animated series as the Joker’s girlfriend, has achieved cult status among DC fans and is Ivy’s best friend in the cartoon. From the looks of things their friendship will be displayed in full glory on Arkham Knight.

Gamers must pre-order Batman: Arkham Knight if they wish to play the Harley Quinn DLC. Batman: Arkham Knight is set for a June 2nd release across all platforms.
