Gamers delighted as turkeys replace humans in Resogun on Thanksgiving

Gamers in The US were treated to a Thanksgiving-themed session of Resogun, signifying Thanksgiving in the United States which came as a delight.

The humans in Resogun, Sony's Defender-esque twin-stick shooter for PS4 and coming to PS Vita, were replaced by tiny, voxel wild turkeys on Thanksgiving Day. The gameplay remained unchanged, where the objective was to survive long enough to rescue the innocent humans from phase after phase of enemies, but there were turkeys instead of humans.

If a turkey was lost the game still said "human lost," but when a turkey was first dropped from its holding pen it made a distinct sound, and did the same when picked up for transport. It's really a fun little addition for the holiday and it shows that there is a definite sense of humor somewhere at Sony.

The game first saw a special Halloween Update and now, the Thanksgiving-theme. Resogun has been surprising fans constantly now with its tweaks and touches to make the game interesting. What more does it have in store for the coming months, remains to be seen.
