FIFA 15: 9 leaked ratings of Liverpool players

Brendan Rodgers has been busy in the summer transfer window adding a lot of players to the current Liverpool squad since the departure of their marquee striker Luis Suarez to Barcelona. The Uruguayan striker scored 31 goals in 33 games last season in the Premier League. In the 2013/14 season, each player of the Liverpool side played their very best and notched up a Champions League spot for the 2014/15 season and almost won the Premier League if it werent for the slip against Chelsea.A recent leak on Purely Footballrevealed 9ratings of the current Liverpool squad.Here are the top 9leaked ratings of Liverpool players:

#1 Daniel Sturridge: 84

The SAS partnership will always be remembered in Anfield. Suarez and Sturridge formed a magnificent partnership in front of the goal. The 24 year old netted 21 goals and had 7 assists to his name in his 26 league appearances for Liverpool.

The English forward’s performances for Liverpool was magnificent but was overshadowed by his team-mate Luis Suarez. Sturridge was also called for the England’s ill-fated squad and had an impressive display for England. He scored a goal against Italy in the first match which England eventually lost.

Sturridge’s lack of decision did not downgrade his rating upgrade of 84 in FIFA 15 from 82 if FIFA 14 which makes him one of the best strikers in the World. The rating of 92 for sprint speed and 91 for acceleration and also his sublime finishing rating of 87 will definitely make him a defender’s nightmare in FIFA 15.

#2 Steven Gerrard: 84

The former England captain recently announced his retirement from International football. Steven Gerrard is undoubtedly one of the best midfielder’s in the World. The Kop captain’s leadership qualities are also supreme.

Steven Gerrard also played a pivotal role in Liverpool’s dominating 2013/14 season. Had it not been for the unfortunate slip against Chelsea, Liverpool would have surely won the League title after 24 years. The English midfielder scored an impressive 13 goals and also provided 13 assists in 33 appearances for the Kops.

His rating of 86 for long shots, 85 for long passing and 87 penalty ratings were untouched in his rating upgrade of 84 in FIFA 15 from 83 in FIFA 14.

#3 Adam Lallana: 83

The former Southampton captain had his move to Anfield completed in the summer for a fee believed to be around £25 million. Adam Lallana was impressive for the Southampton squad in the 2013/14 season where he spent six seasons at.

Adam Lallana’s dribbling and passing has been his major traits. The English midfielder was also one of the six listed for the PFA Player of the Year which Luis Suarez eventually won. The 26 year old was also part of England’s World Cup squad.

His 9 goals and 6 assists for Southampton in 37 League apperances in the 2013/14 season meant that he had recieved a statistical upgrade for his rating of 79 in FIFA 14 to a rating of 83 in FIFA 15.

#4 Philippe Coutinho: 83

The Brazillian missed a spot in Brazil’s 23-man World Cup Squad. His impressive dribbling abilities and exciting skills have definitely been showcased in the Premier League.The Brazilian was definitely underrated in FIFA 14. The 22-year old’s rating of 80 in FIFA 14 has been upgraded to 83 in FIFA 15 which is not surprising.

Coutinho’s rating of 78 is too low for a player whose 2013/14 statistics were impressive. The 22-year old scored an impressive 5 goals and also has 7 assists to his name from 33 League apperances for the Kop’s in the 2013/14 season which are a reason for his statistical upgrade in FIFA 15.

#5 Martin Skrtel - 82

Martin Skrtel was incredible in the 2013/14 season for Liverpool. The Slovakian defender scored 7 goals and also had an assist to his name from 36 appearances. Though Skrtel scored goals against the opposition, he has also scored goals against his own team. The defender has also scored 4 own goals in the 2013-14 season which shows us the downs of the Slovakian.

In FIFA 14, Martin Skrtel was given a rating of 61 in pace. The statistical upgrade of Martin Skrtel to 82 in FIFA 15 is not a surprise because of his solid display in Liverpool’s 2013/14 season.

#6 Raheem Sterling: 80

Raheem Sterling played a major role in Liverpool’s amazing 2013/14 season. The right winger had a mediocre overall rating of 76 in FIFA 14. His 2013/14 season definitely means a higher rating for the English winger. Though Sterling’s performances in England’s World Cup campaign have slightly above average, he has shown glimpses of a bright future to the English football team.

EA has no other option but to increase the overall rating of the English winger to 80. His rating of finishing which is 67 and long shots 55 have been given a statistical upgrade. The leaked rating of 80 are appropriate for Raheem Sterling who also scored 9 goals for the Kops in the 2013/14 season.

#7 Daniel Agger :80

The Dane defender missed most of the 2013/14 season due to injuries. Even a solid partnership at the back between Sakho and Skrtel made the Kops boss to bench the Dane during majority of the tournament.Even when Agger played for Liverpool, his performances were below par. Daniel Agger’s rating has been dropped from an overall rating of 82 to 80 in FIFA 15.

Daniel Agger has also been linked in a move away from Anfield after falling down the order. The Danish defender was even made the vice captain after the retiring of Liverpool veteran Jamie Carragher last season. Agger has been downgraded in his ratings in FIFA 15 particularily his strength rating of 79 looked odd because Agger is known for his capability of physically dominating the forward line of the opposition.

The Belgian goalkeeper was Brendan Rodger’s buy of the 2013/14 season. He was transferred for a fee of £9 pounds from Sunderland on a five-year deal. Simon Mignolet was inspirational in Liverpool’s dominating 2013/14 season. The 26 year old made some phenomenal saves and also had a few penalty saves to his name. The keeper’s reactions was the major reason for him pulling out masterly saves last season.

As per the leaked rating, Simon Mignolet’s rating of 80 in FIFA 14 has been upgraded to 82 because of his impressive statistics at Liverpool. The Belgian did not get a chance to play for Belgium at the World Cup in Brazil mostly because of the errors he committed during set-pieces and corners.

#9 Mamadou Sakho: 82

The French defender was brought last year to Anfield from Paris St Germain for a fee believed to around £15 million. Mamadou Sakho’s strength and speed being his major straits made him a solid center back at Liverpool.

Mamadou Sakho’s 18 league appearances gave him a statistical upgrade of 82 in FIFA 15. The presence of other experienced center-backs including the likes of Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel and Kolo Toure did not interfere with Sakho’s starting place at Liverpool.

Sakho was also included in the French squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brasil playing an important role in the demolition of Honduras and Switzerland. The 24-year old’s leadership capabilities also made him the squad’s vice captain.
