Genshin Impact 5.0 first half banners, release date, weapons, and reruns

Official details regarding the incoming new characters, reruns, and weapon banners have finally been released with the Genshin Impact 5.0 Special program broadcast. In the first part of the character wish event, Mualani will be the featured 5-star character, Kachina will be one of the 4-star characters, and Kazuha will have his rerun banner alongside Mualani. Both the 5-star characters will have their signature weapons featured in the weapon summoning banner.

Featured Characters during Phase 1

During the first half of Genshin Impact version 5.0, the characters to be featured in the Character Event Wish banner are as follows:

Mualani (5-star Hydro Catalyst user)
Kazuha (5-star Anemo Sword user)
Kachina (4-star Geo Polearm user)

Featured Weapons during Phase 1

During the Genshin Impact 5.0 Special Program, a new 5-star catalyst called Surf's Up was announced as one of the new 5-star weapons. This catalyst will be Mualani's signature weapon and will be featured in the weapon banner alongside her character banner.

Freedom Sworn, a 5-star sword and Kazuha's signature weapon, will be the second weapon to be featured alongside Mualani's signature weapon.

Based on the official information, Genshin Impact 5.0 will go live on August 28, 2024. Since every banner in Genshin Impact lasts for three weeks, the duration of the character and weapon banners for the first phase will be from August 28, 2024 (server time) to September 17, 2024. Those who've been saving up their valuable Primogems for their favorite characters can breathe a sigh of relief as they will finally be able to add them to their roster and enjoy the exciting content that Genshin Impact offers in version 5.0.
