Genshin Impact 5.3 will finally see the resurgence of the Chronicled Wish banner, in which Shenhe will be included amongst the character lineup. It has been over one and a half years since Shenhe's last rerun banner, leaving many players complaining about the extensive gap. Fortunately, everyone looking forward to Shenhe's rerun can now breathe a sigh of relief as her rerun banner has been finally announced for the upcoming patch.

Shenhe to be featured in upcoming Liyue Chronicled Wish banner

As announced during the Genshin Impact 5.3 livestream, the upcoming version will feature the Liyue edition of the Chronicled Wish banners. The Chronicled Wish banners were first introduced in Genshin Impact 4.5, featuring Mondstadt characters only. The second edition of Chronicled Wish — which will take place in version 5.3 — will feature Liyue characters.

5-Star Cryo unit Shenhe is one of the characters who will be featured in the Chronicled Wish rerun banners, alongside other characters hailing from Liyue, such Xiao, Baizhu, Keqing, Qiqi, Ganyu, and Tartaglia. Players can pull on their desired Chronicled Wish rerun banner using Intertwined Fates.

Schedule for Shenhe's Chronicled Wish rerun banner

Although developers announced the new Chronicled Wish character reruns for Genshin Impact 5.3, there was no mention of a specific date for the beginning of the banners. This means that Shenhe's rerun banner (along with the other listed Liyue characters' rerun banners) might be featured either in the first or the second half of version 5.3.

The first half of version 5.3 begins on January 1, 2025, while the second half will begin on January 21, 2025. Hence, as per this schedule, Shenhe's Chronicled Wish rerun banner will be available on either of these two dates:

January 21, 2025

Along with the character rerun banners, Chronicled Wish will also feature the signature 5-Star weapons of all the rerunning characters. Thus, players who are planning on pulling for Shenhe and her weapon will get the best chance to do so during the upcoming version.
