Genshin Impact Pale Mist puzzle locations

Pale Mist in Genshin Impact is a puzzle mechanic in Natlan. While exploring the Pyro region, you might end up at places that are completely black and white, and you must use the Hued Monetoos to solve the wooden horse puzzle to light up the said area. As of this writing, there are only two Pale Mist puzzles, and solving them is very simple. Furthermore, as a reward for completing these challenges, you can obtain one Precious Chest and one Remarkable Chest.

All Natlan Pale Mist puzzle locations in Genshin Impact

Pale Mist puzzle #1

Teleport to the waypoint east of the Statue of The Seven in the Masters of the Night-Wind and go north before jumping from the cliff to find the first Pale Mist puzzle.

To solve the puzzle, start by activating both wooden toys. This will color the surrounding area, allowing you to use the Hued Monetoos. Next, hit the toy on the yellow track from behind to make it move.

Return to the first toy's location and extract yellow from the Hued Monetoo. Next, hold your Skill and aim in front of the toy on the track before hitting it at the back again to move it.

This will spawn another Hued Monetoo. Extract yellow from it and hit the toy one last time. Once it reaches the end of the track, aim the skill at the stone on the right side.

Finally, touch the shining spot in front of the stone to complete the challenge. As a reward, you will get a Precious Chest, worth 10 Primogems.

Note that you must stay inside the colored area around the toy while you are holding the extracted color or you will lose the color.

Pale Mist puzzle #2

Use the teleport waypoint near the Masters of the Night-Wind Reputation point and head west to find the second Pale Mist puzzle in Genshin Impact.

For this puzzle, start by indwelling an Iktomisaurus and use its Spiritspeaker skill to interact with the graffiti on the wall. Next, go to the end of the track and put the rock beside other rocks to open the cave entrance. Once that is done, go to the wooden toy at the start of the track. Activate the toy before hitting it from behind to make it move and follow it.

After you reach the end, activate the other wooden toy near the stone. Next, return to the first toy before extracting red from the nearby Hued Monetoo and aim at the stone on the right side. Finally, interact with the glowing spot near the stone to complete the challenge and get a Remarkable Chest.
