When will it become available again?”. The reply given by Rockstar gave light on the situation and revealed that a 720p version of the game will be releasing in a few days, around October 26th on Xbox 360.

This new updated version will be featuring enhanced draw distance, 720p resolution and also an achievement support via the already leaked achievements. To add on to it zrockstar goes into detail regarding compatibility between the two versions . “The Games on Demand version of San Andreas is not compatible with the Xbox Originals version. Save files will not transfer from Xbox Originals. Owners of the Xbox Originals version will still have access to the old version on their consoles and through their download history, with the option to purchase the new version to experience the added features on a new save file.”

The fact that it is releasing with achievements is good enough to get any Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas fans off of their seats.
