Rockstar games just recently released the highest rated videogame of this generation called Red Dead Redemption 2 just 3 months ago and are now fully dedicated to making their next big game or multiple titles which are apparently being made for the next generation of consoles-PS5.
The new information comes from Rockstar Games studios situated in India which is hiring for the post of Senior Environment artist.
This is what the listing said-
“Join our team to create next-generation worlds for some exciting upcoming projects! Strong modelling and texturing skills are not enough. Candidates must be able to create immersive, living, and fully-realised environments.
As a Senior Environment Artist working at Rockstar India, you will be responsible for creating exciting and believable artwork, creating and texturing environment assets for the biggest and best open world environments in the industry.”
Aside from Rockstar India, The New York based studio of Rockstar Games are also hiring, but for motion capture artists.
“You will be working with a talented core team of passionate and committed individuals to work on some of the largest scale projects to be found in any entertainment medium,” the Rockstar listing explains.
“You will have the opportunity to build and develop new tools and pipelines used across all our studios in a friendly and inclusive environment where you can collaborate with some of the most accomplished and driven people in the industry.”
This is exciting news for all the fans, as the listening definitely suggests that Rockstar Games have already started working on their next-gen projects.
As a team of over 3000 people, Rockstar Games tends to work on multiple projects at a time as Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 were in development simultaneously although the most of the resources were focused on GTA V at that time
As Red Dead Redemption 2 clearly out of the line now, Rockstar Games can fully dedicate their resources on their next big game which is most probably Grand Theft Auto VI.
