Harmonix to delay Amplitude

It has been announced by Harmonix in a Kickstarter update that the amplitude HD originally targeted for a March release will be pushed back till the summer.

This is unfortunate and what Harmonix had to say was "This is our first time working on PlayStation 4, and it’s been a big learning experience for the team," They also stated that since they will be putting in more "awesome and new content" and an engine to support it, the release is being delayed.

The team also adds that they are still in the process of making "solid progress" on Amplitude HD, which originally met its funding goal in May. Harmonix has promised that they will have content to show in Boston in the beginning of March for PAX East, which will be taking place on the weekend of March 6th to March 8th. They added, "You can also expect a far more polished multiplayer mode that will be available for hands-on at PAX.”

The initial goal of $775,000 USD has been exceeded by Harmonix just to bring the game to PS4 and PS3, and was a part of an amazing $89 million raised on Kickstarter for game-related projects in 2014.

Lastly Harmonix added, "You've given us the opportunity to create the game we want to make and more importantly, make the game that you want, We are not willing to cut any corners.
