Hello Game's founder reveals more information on No Man's Sky

Hello Games’ founder Sean Murray’s interview with Game Informer

No Man’s Sky is an upcoming sci-fi adventure title by Hello Games which will feature a procedurally generated open universe for players to explore. The game sure sounds interesting with gamers wanting to know more. Hello Games founder, Sean Murray, did a recent interview with Game Informer where he revealed some new and interesting information on No Man’s Sky.

The biggest piece of information that players need to know is that the game will not have any DLC. And it looks like it won’t need one either. According to Murray, the game’s “universe is infinite“, so players won’t exactly need more content as there will already be millions of planets for them to explore.

Secondly, even if there are millions of planets to explore, Earth will not be one of them. There will be many Earth like planets though. Your character will also have the ability to swim and attack but watch out, as your character will also have a health bar that you will need to be wary of.

No NPC’s or build feature in No Man’s Sky

Murray has also listed things which your character will not be able to do in the game. These include selecting your gender, building a shelter or a space station, collecting plants, or riding a dinosaur. There will also be no NPC characters, just creatures from different planets. Players will also not be able to destroy planets or terraform them.

Players will be granted one ship which they cannot customize nor teleport to and though the game will have a shop, Murray has not specified exactly what this shop will contain. Players will also be able to travel into black holes for as long as they like, however, they will not be able to travel to the end of the universe.

The game was presented at the E3 conference and it sounds like it will be the most realistic space travel exploration game till date.
