Hideo Kojima's first post-Konami game, Death Stranding, released last month to polarizing reviews. However, that won't stop this legendary game director from talking about the game's foreseeable sequel.

In an interview with Vulture, Kojima talked about the possibilities of a Death Stranding sequel in the future and working with Norman Reedus. He ended up saying that if he does, 'he would start it from zero.'

This doesn't confirm that a sequel to Death Stranding is on the way. This, however, does point outs that if a sequel is to happen in the future, it may not follow the storyline of the first game. This Death Stranding sequel may be set in the same universe or even time period but not necessarily feature Sam Porter Bridges (Norman Reedus' character) as the main protagonist.

It also mean that the game may feature the social strand system from the Death Stranding, which is actually one of the high points of the game.

In other news, Kojima also in his own mysterious ways teased that he may be ready to dwell back into the horror genre, leading to the possibilities that the next game being developed at Kojima Productions may appeal to the P.T. fans, which Kojima directed as well.

What Kojima Productions is working on post Death Stranding is still a mystery and we'll have to wait for any official statements from the company.

We felt that "Death Stranding is a huge leap forward in the video game industry and generates a feeling that no other artistic medium is capable of providing currently." You can read our full review of the game here.
