A leak has surfaced online telling players exactly how many pulls they could obtain in the upcoming version of the title, both from standard gameplay content and new events or quests.

Guide to obtaining 81+ free pulls in Genshin Impact 5.3 update

Genshin Impact 5.3 is estimated to drop on January 1, 2025, with Mavuika and Citlali expected to be released as 5-star characters. According to leakers, there will be no new map expansion in this version of the game, which means that players will not be able to obtain any Primogems from exploration.

However, there will still be new events and quests, along with routine gameplay content, that can help players get up to 81+ free pulls.

According to a leak by Spletnik_Fatui (who goes by the handle @_hiragara_ on X), free-to-play players will be able to obtain a total of 81 pulls in Genshin Impact 5.3, with that number further increasing for Welkin Moon and Battle Pass buyers.

Here is a breakdown of exactly how these free pulls could be obtained in the upcoming version, according to the leak:

Regular/permanent content

Daily commissions: 2520 Primogems
Character trials: 80 Primogems
Spiral Abyss: 800 Primogems
Imaginarium Theater: 1600 Primogems
Redemption codes: 360 Primogems
Update maintenance compensation: 600 Primogems

New version content

New quests: 800 Primogems
New events: 2200 Primogems
New achievements: 205 Primogems
24 Intertwined Fates (3840 Primogems)

Combining all these Primogems will give free-to-play players a total of 81 free pulls (13,005 Primogems).

Players who purchase the Welkin Moon will get a total of 105 pulls (16,785 Primogems), while those buying both the Welkin Moon and the Battle Pass will get 113 pulls (18,105 Primogems).
