IEM Katowice Major 2019: Where to watch and schedule of the CS:GO and Starcraft II tournament

Intel Extreme Masters Katowice Major 2019 is an annual event that is dedicated to the best CS: GO tournament in the world. The event will not only feature the best teams from around the world competing for the tournament title but will also battle it out for a massive prize pool of $1,000,000.

The Katowice Major is almost synonymous with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but it also features a StarCraft II tournament with a combined prize pool of $400,000.

When will Katowice 2019 start?

The CS: GO tournament will start on 13 February 2019 and end on 3 March 2019. The Starcraft II tournament, on the other hand, begins on 25 February 2019 and comes to a close on 3 March 2019.

The complete schedule of IEM Katowice Major 2019

The CS:GO tournament is split into three stages:

  • Challenger Stage: 13 February 2019 - 17 February 2019
  • Legends Stage: 20 February 2019 - 24 February 2019
  • Champions Stage: 28 February 2019 - 3 March 2019

The Champions Stage is the final bracket that features the quarterfinals, semifinals and the grand final.

On 3 March 2019, the CS:GO grand final will start at 7:00 PM local time (6:00 PM GMT).

The Starcraft II tournament has a smaller tournament timeline with it starting on 25 February 2019 and ending on 3 March 2019. There aren't any special stages in this event.

The semifinals and the grand final of the Starcraft II tournament will take place on the main stage of the Spodek Arena during the last day of the schedule.

Where to watch Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2019?

The Starcraft II tournament and the Champions Stage of the CS: GO tournament will be held at the iconic Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland.

The Legends Stage of the CS: GO tournament, however, will take place at the International Conference Centre. Lastly, the Challenger Stage will only feature a studio broadcast.
