The month of April witnessed massive participation (1,133) across three games played in 13 cities. May has also seen phenomenal results as expected. Seeing how things are going, the footfall at ILG Season 2 is bound to surpass last year's total of 2600. Indian LAN Gaming Cup has made the ILG Ultimate LAN Wars into a landmark event by putting in a monumental effort to increase its reach, thereby becoming a blessing for Indian gaming enthusiasts.

The first week of May saw CS:GO being played at the VGS Cafe in Mumbai, Dota 2 at the ‘Elite Gamer’ in Chennai and ‘AR Gaming Asylum’ in Cuttack, and Fifa 18 at the ‘Battle Grounds’ in Coimbatore. A total of 236 gamers participated in the first week, out of which 150 were in Dota 2 itself. A total prize of Rs. 1 lakh was up for grabs, and Team 'ICOD' and 'Generation of Miracles' took away a major chunk by winning Dota 2 in Chennai and Cuttack. Mohammed Sohaib took the top spot in Fifa 18, with Derran Edmonds finishing as Runners-up in a closely-contested final.

The second week was a lot busier with three games being played across seven cities. CS:GO was played at 'Gamers Den' in Guwahati and 'Yolo esports' in Hyderabad. Players competed in Dota 2 at 'Circle Gaming Cafe' in Mumbai. Fifa 18 was contested in four cities - Lucknow, Bangalore, Pune, and Kolkata. A total of 172 teams consisting of 325 players were in contention. Dota 2 saw 34 players going head-to-head, while CS:GO saw 152, and Fifa 18 witnessed 139 participants. The maximum number of registrations were received from Kolkata.

Akshat Anand, Nihal Thomas Jacob, Saransh Jain and Abhishek Mondal showed exceptional resilience and took the top spot in Fifa 18 across the four cities. Team 'Reckoning Infinity' was rather impressive in Dota 2 and finished first with 'Team Revolution' at a close second.
