Inti Creates is currently developing a sequel to Azure Striker Gunvolt sequel

Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 is currently in development

It’s been almost a year since developers Inti Creates released its hit 2D action side-scroller, Azure Striker Gunvolt, for the Nintendo 3DS. Gamers took pretty well to the title as it had a similar gameplay style to Inti Creates previous release, Mega Man Zero. Fans of the series will be happy to know that the developers are now working on a sequel to their beloved game, dubbed Azure Striker Gunvolt 2.

The development team have confirmed via Facebook that they are currently working on a sequel to Azure Striker Gunvolt. They thanked fans for their continued support, which eventually led to the development of the sequel. Here is their statement:

“As we reported on our Twitter, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 is coming!!!

After all the support we received from our fans, we decided that we are going to give Gunvolt a second installment on the Nintendo 3DS!

As time goes on we will have more information, but for now, we are happy to report that Gunvolt is coming back to strike once again!”

Inti Creates have not revealed any other details on Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, except for the fact that it will focus on Gunvolt as he continues to escape from the hands of both the Sumeragi Group and the QUILL forces. The team are yet to announce a release date for the title, but it will be available for the Nintendo 3DS.
