Additionally, there are a couple of original Jump Force Characters as well as non-playable characters (NPCs) from Death Note (Light and Ryuuk). Akira Toriyama, the creator of the Dragon Ball series, helped to design and create several characters in the game.

Jump Force is a three-on-three tag team fighting game which features the characters mentioned above. The ultimate crossover plot features the Dragon Ball Z villain Frieza, who attacks New York City.
