Another game that is set to release on Early Access this month is Tripwire Interactive’s Killing Floor 2. The game is a sequel to the 2009 co-op first person shooter title, Killing Floor, which was originally released as a mod for Unreal Tournament back in 2005.
Killing Floor 2 will make its debut on Steam Early Access by April 21st this year. This version will be priced at $29.99, though purchasing the game right away will not fetch buyers any discounts. Thankfully, this price is not likely to change even after its full release later this year.
While there is still a lot left to finish, Tripwire will be offering a “polished beta” version for players who cannot wait till the end of the year to try the game out. Here are a few features that will be present in the beta version:

- 3 levels
- 4 perk classes
- 27 weapons
- 11 Zeds
- 7 playable characters
- 1 boss
- Continuously-expanding mod support
This is just a small glimpse of what the final game will have to offer. The finished product will consist of even more levels based in continental Europe and an even wider range of weapons as well as 10 perk classes. The developers are also hoping their game will work flawlessly on co-operative and solo modes with minimal bugs.
Hopefully, they are able to keep this promise, though this might be tough given the recent plethora of buggy releases. In the meantime, you can check out these cool screenshots from the game.
Killing Floor 2 will be available for PC and PlayStation 4.
