Liverpool edge out Everton in a thriller.....in FIFA 15

Remember a few days back we reported on how players from Everton and Liverpool resumed their rivalry in the virtual world via FIFA 15? Well EA SPORTS made us wait for a very long time before finally revealing the winner of that contest. It was Liverpool who came out on top with a tense 3-2 win over Everton in the Merseyside derby where players from both the clubs took on each other.

Jose Enrique, Fabio Borini, Jon Flanagan and Danny Ward represented Liverpool, and on the other side, Everton were represented by their talisman Leighton Baines, and the trio of Joel Robles, Tyias Browning and Ryan Ledson.

Game 1 had the players pick Real Madrid and Bayern Munich with the Liverpool players winning the contest 4-0. Game 2 was the traditional El Classico which the Everton players won 3-1 by picking Real Madrid. The final was the much anticipated one as the players picked their own sides finally. The game had everything with Gerrard scoring and missing one penalty, red cards flying all around and it was the Liverpool players who came out on top picking up a 3-2 victory.
