League of Legends' latest champion Sylas was revealed a few days ago. The Unshackled is the latest to join the League rank. It is no surprise that Riot has leaned more towards a more complicated kit and champion designs in the past few years and Sylas is no different. Here is a quick run through of his abilities-

Petricite Burst (Passive)

His passive is pretty straightforward. Whenever Sylas uses any of his abilities his next basic attack will deal bonus damage which will scale based on level.

Chain Lash (Q)

Sylas will use his chain to damage in the targeted location which will also slow them. After a brief delay, it will detonate and damage the champions again and will also apply another slow.

Kingslayer (W)

Sylas lunges towards enemy champion and deals magic damage. It's kinda like execute based ability where he deals more damage if the opponent has low health. He also heals himself in the process. He will heal more if he is low on health.

Abscond/Abduct (E)

His E is a two-part ability. He will dash towards a location and grant himself a shield. The second part is basically him whipping his chain in the targeted direction. The chain will stun the first enemy it hits and Sylas will pull him towards the affected champions knocking them up.

Hijack (R)

One of the most interesting parts of the kit has been his ultimate. Sylas can copy the ultimate of the enemy champion. He can then cast the ultimate which will be based on Sylas own stats. He cannot select the same champion twice.

Sylas definitely seems like an interesting champion. His potential seems very high but one who would require a lot of practice. His ultimate seems the game breaker and can be the real MVP. He is currently available on PBE and should be available on live server on patch 9.2
