Riot has released plans regarding the upcoming skins in 2019. Season 8 saw the release of multiple big events like VS events, KDA and Odyssey etc. This was very well received so expect a handful of those to return in 2019.

Skin line like Arcade, Project and Star Guardian will also be making a return in 2019. These skin lines are very popular among the players, so it was to be expected.

Diving deep into the Vs event, it will be one of the featured events of the year. Riot indicated that it won't be like the traditional event where usually archenemies battle out for the top spot. Riot suggested they are going to answer the life long question of who is better in cats and dogs. So maybe a battle between Nasus vs Rengar?

There is going to be an event early in the year which will be inspired by a very popular Shonen anime. Riot didn't reveal the name yet but expect the event to be wonderful.

Last year Riot revamped the High Noon skin line which was pretty outdated by releasing a couple of more skins and revamping the old ones. Expect something similar this year.

As we all know, KDA became super popular and the skins were a total sell out. Riot will again try to release music inspired skins.

Prestige skin was introduced with the release of KDA theme last year. More Prestige skins are going to be released this year which will also include the remaining members of KDA being Ahri and Evelyn.

There are some champions in the game who haven't had new skin in a while. Riot will try to give at least one skin to those champions. This includes Shaco, Zilean, Nunu, Ivern and many others.

Outside of the skins, Riot is working on a product that will allow players to showcase their talent and achievements on champions so keep an eye for that.
