Season 8 has ended and you can now finally see your yearly performance review via the returning 'Year in Review' feature.

This is a much-appreciated feature which allows the player to check their performance stats throughout the past season. It's a much-needed feature which helps in analyzing players performance significantly. It, of course, helps in improving and rectifying the mistakes you make often.

'Year in Review' has a wide variety of features such as your Best game of the year, Champion with the highest KDA, Longest game, and Worst game etc. It's put out in a very interactive way. The good thing about the system that it suggests you different champions after analyzing your profile which might suit your playstyle. Overall it's a very helpful feature.

You can also check someone else's profile by just searching their IGN.

Riot Games and tech Giant Tencent recently joined hands together to establish a joint venture called Tengjing Esports in Shanghai.

The basic objective of the venture is to better the Esports experience and bring the Esports to the general crowd.

“TJ Sports will build the best tournament organizing team to improve our tournament and users experiences and make the standardization of the esports industry. In the long term, TJ Sports plans to become an international esports operation company, improving the diversity and sustainability of the esports industry at the global scale,” said Ma Xiaoyi, the senior vice president of Tencent Group.

China is one of the biggest Esports consumers globally. The venture will handle all League of Legends related activities from here onwards in China and are planning to spread into different games moving forward.

This is an exciting move since the League of Legends scene is already booming in China. Invictus Gaming, the local Chinese team, also won the Worlds 2018 making a statement for their region.
