Most online retailers posted on social networking websites that the game would be out by February 2015. Konami has presently confirmed that all these are false claims.
Several online retailers confirmed the official release of the game and mention it would be on 24th of February 2015. Unusually people believed this post only because this was by Microsoft Store. Konami’s ToraShiro posted that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will not be released in February 2015. He also said that he regrets that the retailers had posted the wrong date of release.
