Mortal Kombat 11 got a new character added to the collection of fighters. This time it's Jade. Jade was revealed in a trailer earlier, showing off all her suave moves. Jade is a character that was featured in many older Mortal Kombat Games as well, but this time she has been resurrected as a revenant. She first featured in Mortal Kombat 3.
In Mortal Kombat 9, Sindel killed off a huge chunk of the roster. Most of them came back as revenants of the Nether Realm, and Jade is one of them. She still has those ninja-like moves though. This time she also has the ability to phase through things.
It seems like Jade has been modified a little bit compared to her old self. While the ninja character still has her flexible combat moves and dodges, the staff and her phasing through is something interesting. She is very fast-paced, she can control the space around her and she can use daggers and her staff as well to inflict damage from a distance.
Jade has returned with some sick fatalities. We don't quite know what her other fatalities are but from the trailer it can be seen that she rips the opponent apart by popping an eyeball first and then gutting them in half, leaving their entrails open.
Mortal Kombat 11 is confirmed to have different customization features. Each character will have three different pieces of gear that can be changed. Another classic character, Scorpion can be customized with different gear such as his katana, spear and mask. The customizations look really dope this time around.
Mortal Kombat 11 is scheduled to release for Xbox One, PS4, Switch, and PC on April 23. Players will have a chance to beta test the game in March. Thankfully, you won't need to pre-order the game to beta test it.
