We're three days away from the official reveal of Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11 is set to release on April 23rd, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and Nintendo Switch. The latest installment in the incredibly brutal franchise will see the return of Raiden and Scorpion, and... that's really all we have at this point.

While Ed Boon brought the initial trailer to the 2018 Game Awards, aside from DLC info about Shao Kahn, the only info we've received from the game through NetherRealms is that Scorpion and Raiden are a part of it. Sure, most will see following the events of Mortal Kombat X that Raiden has possibly turned evil in an effort to protect Earthrealm, and that was also mentioned in a leak that was released back in November.

However, NetherRealm Studios has kept anything about the game surprisingly quiet, even though it will be out in only a few months. That being said, we are sure to get some great info on the story, roster, and gameplay when the Mortal Kombat 11 Community Event takes place.

The event has been mentioned a handful of times through the official Twitter of Mortal Kombat 11, but today the account has sent out several tweets giving us info about it. The MK 11 Reveal will take place at 6:30 GMT in London, England this Thursday, January 17th.

Viewers will get to see the first hands-on look of MK 11, which will include bits of the story, plus reveals of updated characters, including Scorpion, who NetherRealm Studios have already shown in a tweet sent out yesterday.

We've already seen the appearances of both Raiden and Shao Kahn, and are sure to see more favorites like Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, and Kitana on Thursday.

Tune into the reveal on Thursday at 10:30 am PST/ 1:30 pm EST/ 6:30 pm GMT to see what NetherRealm Studios and Ed Boon have in store for Mortal Kombat 11. Those not at the event can watch it at NetherRealm's official Twitch channel.
