According to NetherRealm Studios, playing Mortal Kombat X’s story mode will be like playing a movie.
Britain’s GamesTM magazine interviewed Brian Goodman who is the Marketing Manager for Mortal Kombat X. Goodman had a lot to say about the story mode and further stated that the story mode will be an important part of the game.
Goodman says that the story mode is huge and that it was a very popular feature from the previous game. According to Goodman, making the story mode this time was bit easier as he knew that it was a feature that fans would like to embrace.
He says that making the story mode is such that the fans would feel like they are “playing a movie” rather than just playing a traditional style of video game.
NetherRealm Studios trailer proves this point as the story mode does look mind blowing. Although the previous game raised the stakes in terms of how entertaining the story mode was, we hope that this time more characters would be kept alive.
Mortal Kombat X comes out from April 14th for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
