The Drama and The Twitter War

A lot of fans are confused as they don’t understand why Dendi's leaving Na’Vi now. The retirement was on its way as every player retires at some point. While 25-26 is the age when most people retire Dendi being 29 was a clear indication that he is going to retire soon.

But this did not seem like a normal retirement announcement. Previously Na’Vi CEO released a statement about Dendi not being the best person for the team. Soon after that Dendi posted his long tweet talking about a lot of things while he mentions his future is not clear with Na’Vi anymore.

The man who has always avoided controversy and mostly known as a funny person was forced to rant over Twitter? We will never know the answer. It can be simply frustration of not being able to perform or maybe the inside drama in the organization. Soon after that General, the trusted offlaner of Na’Vi called out the CEOs of Na’Vi and Vega squadron and right after that Na’Vi CEO announced that General will not be a part of the organization anymore.

There is definitely something wrong inside the organization but it is hard to assume when you don’t know both sides of the story.

Here is a translation of what Na’Vi CEO tweeted after Navi failed to qualify for The International 2018:

Excuse me, please, it's a shame. The guys tried, but this composition as a body without a head and it's the fault of my decisions, although the players do not always give us a choice in their acceptance. Nevertheless, I am responsible for the result. I will inform you about the future of the team next week.

Soon after this Vega’s CEO tweeted:

We've gone beyond hitting rock bottom. Vega never knew this kind of disgrace. @NAVIHarisPilton, it’s better to lose in the Opens, than playing like this in Mains.

Na’Vi.General Tweeted back at both the CEO right after that:

Laughing out loud at @NAVIHarisPilton and @VegaAlexey :).You have weak players in your teams, so you get the corresponding results. Players are the ones responsible for all the losses first and foremost. “They were trying” isn’t an excuse. People try at 1.5k MMR too, but only a few get to the top.

Soon after General called out the CEO of his own team the future of him in the roster was not very secure. There were rumors everywhere on the internet about him leaving the organization. The rumors did come true. In the latest announcement regarding the new roster of Na’Vi the CEO of Na’Vi announced the roster does not include Dendi and General as well as Lil and coach XBOCT.
