#3 Slasher
Being a slasher can be lots and lots of fun to develop your player with. A unique archetype in that sense, slashers are usually the quickest in terms of on-court movement and that is one of their main advantages. Building on the stats of these players will give you unmatchable unique offensive skills with the knowledge of knowing when exactly to cut, to drive or even when the best idea is to do nothing and hang back for the game to settle down.
Over time you can move your player into the realm of becoming a better passer and shooter by developing their stats as well. Further, there also are a decent number of options and available methods to turn your player into a decent force at defence as well. While defensively they may not hold up as well as the other archetypes what they can do on the other end, is unique and important.
While Russell Westbrook is a great example of a slasher in today's game, you could even be inspired by Allen Iverson.
