Blizzard Entertainment has often experimented with various cosmetic themes but the new Overwatch 2 skins stand out. A new batch of concept artwork is out right now, showcasing different aesthetics for the various heroes, ranging from fantasy to racing. This makes sense since each new Season has brought different themes and concepts.

As such, this has fans excited for what may come in the future via upcoming Seasons. Here's what we can expect from this concept.

All new Overwatch 2 skins explored

Here are all the themes for the new Overwatch 2 skins explored in the latest survey:

  • Noir
  • Fantasy
  • Faerie
  • Racing/Circuit
  • Demonic
  • Culinary
  • Anime
  • Sci-fi

As it stands now, that is hard to tell. This is not the first time Blizzard Entertainment has had public surveys where they have showcased concept artwork for many cosmetics- which are one of the highlights of Overwatch 2. They may or may not get featured so fans will need to be patient and see - unfortunately, that may take several Seasons, if at all.

With that said, however, fan reception has largely been positive toward these new Overwatch 2 skins.

Here are some of the most popular ones from the set:

Noir theme

  • Soldier 76: Wearing a crisp white shirt and gray pants topped by a white-and-blue striped tie, the iconic DPS hero looks the part of a hardened detective
  • Reaper: Another fan-favorite, Reaper gets black overalls with funny glasses and a mustache - certainly a new look for the shotgun-wielding DPS hero
  • Ana: This is an interesting one as the beloved Support class sniper gets a fairly androgynous look as a lab-coat-clad scientist or some sort of academic
  • Sojourn: The DPS heroine gets another vigilante-esque outfit depicted by her black-and-red mask - however her fur jacket still grounds her in noir territory.

Demonic theme:

  • Ashe & BOB: The ranged DPS Ashe gets a vampiric Wild West design while her Ultimate and partner BOB gets a gargoyle-esque outfit
  • Cassidy: The Deadlock Gang founder also gets an undead demonic design like Ashe
  • D.VA: This might be one of the best skins ever conceptualized for the Tank hero as D.VA's mech is adorned with skulls and blue=ish-green flames

Culinary theme:

  • Sigma: The gravity-bending Tank hero dons a chef outfit, replete with pizza armor pieces and veggies replacing his Hyperspheres
  • Reinhardt: The iconic Tank hero becomes a lovely baker as depicted by the various cake designs on his outfit
  • Lifeweaver: The latest Support addition to Overwatch 2 looks dashing in a waiter outfit with macaroons and other sweets adorning his petals

Regardless of how players feel towards these new Overwatch 2 skins, it is likely we will not see them anytime soon unless Season 11 gets a detective or food-themed makeover. Overwatch 2 is on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
