Much of the news surrounding Assassin’s Creed: Unity lately has been about the game’s multiple bugs and glitches. Ubisoft has also promised players that they are aware of these issues and are currently working to fix them. They have now announced a new patch for the game which will arrive sometime this week. A forum post by Ubisoft has stated that the upcoming patch will contain many fixes for the games various issues, including frame rate drop fixes and many other tweaks. The full list of patch notes can be found here.

The patch will be arriving today, November 26th, for the PS4 and sometime later this week for the PC and Xbox One versions of the game. Ubisoft has been in the firing line lately after its release of Assassins Creed: Unity earlier this month was met with a lot of negative feedback from players complaining about various glitches and bugs plaguing the game. This was worsened by the fact that Ubisoft had held off all reviews of the game for a full 12-hours after the games public release, probably to stave off negative press that could affect the games sales. All of this has negatively affected Ubisoft’s public image.

This time Ubisoft is set to release its new racing title, The Crew, this December and just like with Unity, Ubisoft has no plans to release review copies of the game to the press outlets ahead of its release. Hopefully, The Crew does not face the same troubles as Assassins Creed: Unity.
