Phil Spencer , Head of Xbox at Microsoft shot an interesting tweet with a screenshot that thrilled Xbox owners since it showcased the new Screenshot Feature in action. The ability to get screenshots of their own game has been a long requested demand of fans ever since the console made its debut in November 2013.
Phil used his Xbox One dev kit that enabled him to showcase this feature and the same can be done on Xbox One as well. Phil mentioned in his tweet that he was delighted to see the feature work out since he and his team had been working on this for a while and they had come a long way since they first set out to create this feature.
As witnessed in the screenshot released by Phil, Beat Drop is not a commercial game it is just an internal test game that is used by Xbox One developers. The final draft of this feature will allow players to take images from any video game.
Players can record their own gameplay. Sony has a similar feature that allows players to take screenshots using the Share button on PS4. This is a feature on the PS4 has been present since its launch in November 2013. Xbox One will now finally get this update allowing you to do a similar thing.
