New trailer released for Star Citizen, invokes players to "Imagine"

New trailer for the game has been released.

Star Citizen is an upcoming space trading and combat simulator video game for Microsoft Windows and Linux by Cloud Imperium Games.Still under production, the makers have released a new Imagine trailer for the game that showcases the work of "captured in engine," which is an interesting distinction from being captured "in-game."

However, the video mainly focuses on depicting the role the players can assume in the game, mainly a description of the various portrayal’s that a player as the protagonist will face.

Will you be an elite jet-jockey? A sharply-dressed trader, looking for the next big score? Perhaps an explorer, picking through ruins with a scanner in one hand and a gun in the other? Or maybe you'll find yourself standing on a flight deck somewhere, sucking back your third coffee as you wonder how you're going to cover the cost of fuel, your mortgage, and that wildly overpriced private school your wife insisted that your daughter attend.

Its all very aspirational, whether Star Citizen will be able to live up to its promises is a question that's a long way from being answered.
