YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed," arguably one of the most recognizable faces on the platform right now, recently wrapped up his South Korean expedition. His final stream (May 17) had a viral moment where the streamer was seen attending and performing at a concert. During his time there, he had the chance to meet popular Korean singer Jang Da-hye aka Heize.

The singer enjoys a dedicated fanbase in South Korea, and IShowSpeed certainly was excited to meet her at the concert. Upon seeing her, the streamer said:

"Yo Heize, nice to meet you. Yo, I saw your singing. It was fire...I loved your singing. I was in the crowd, waving my flashlight."

Heize isn't fluent in English and responded in her native tongue. Fortunately, the streamer had a local guide and translator with him. According to the translator, Heize said that she had seen Speed's latest video/stream.

The duo even took a selfie together. Heize later shared the picture on her official Instagram account:

IShowSpeed meeting celebrities is a common occurrence now. The streamer frequently interacts with big names. His latest stream was no different. Darren had the chance to meet popular Korean singer Heize.

While the language barrier prevented them from having a prolonged conversation, they did, nonetheless, have a wholesome moment together. The clip was shared on the popular r/LivestreamFail subreddit. One user comically said:

IShowSpeed's trip to Korea was an overall success. His final stream attracted over 180K concurrent viewers at its peak. Additionally, the VOD of the stream has amassed over five million views on YouTube as of this writing.

He also had other viral moments, such as when he attempted to bark at a pet dog being carried by a passerby in Seoul. The streamer got close to the dog, which appeared to bite him in response.
