The Summer Game Fest 2024 showcase is underway and LEGO Horizon Adventures was just announced at the gaming event. Developed in collaboration with Guerilla Games and Team Gobo, it is set to launch during Holiday 2024 and will arrive on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5, and Nintendo Switch.

The game retains the iconic LEGO humor while also showcasing a new look at the Horizon universe. Here's everything fans need to know about LEGO Horizon Adventures.

The beloved protagonist Aloy returns with a brick-esque makeover in this new isometric adventure game. After being found in a cave and raised by the grizzled Rost, Aloy must embark on a journey to discover the truth behind herself. This leads her to the hologram of Elisabeth and also contends with Helis, an antagonistic group of sun worshippers.

The gameplay will see players explore varied levels either solo or in two-player co-op, the latter being available in both local and online formats. The iconic monster-robot hybrids are also in and will pose a big challenge to players in action combat.

While a PC port is expected due to Sony's recent interest in the platform, the Nintendo Switch port is a surprise. After MLB The Show, this is the first time a PlayStation title has arrived on a modern Nintendo system.

Fans must wait until Holiday 2024 for more concrete release details.
