A total of 48 teams have been seeded into three groups for the Group Stage of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024. The group draws were livestreamed by the publisher on the PUBG Mobile Esports YouTube channel on Thursday, October 17. The League Stage of this grand event will kick off on October 31, 2024, with a total prize pool of $3 million.The League Stage boasts 48 teams from various countries, with 46 teams already selected for the competition. The remaining two teams will be selected in the coming few days. The best 15 teams from the three-week-long League Stage will progress to the Grand Finals. The League phase of the tournament will take place in Malaysia, while the Grand Finals are scheduled to be held in London, United Kingdom. The top three teams from each group will earn a direct spot in the Grand Finals of PMGC 2024. Teams ranked 4th to 11th in each group will advance to the Survival Stage, while the remaining teams will be eliminated from the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024.IHC Esports, the PMGC 2023 champions, has received a special invite to the event. Many top-tier clubs have also qualified, including Alpha 7 Esports, this year’s PMWC champions. Meanwhile, Guild Esports has directly been invited to the ultimate stage.
