Everyone is the city has gathered and the chorus is in the air as 2 kombatants are revealed with the crowd forming a massive circular pit around them. The horde is seen getting rather anxious as the fight moves towards the end then someone gets notified of another fight breaking out and the rampaging masses rush off to catch it.

This trailer suits the game perfectly and you can have a look at it below.

NetherRealm has been adding new fighters to their roster with the release date inching closer. Horror legend Jason Voorhees has been announced and so has Predator along with Tanya, Tremor. Some rumors have suggested that Spawn might be appearing in a DLC.

Mortal Kombat X boasts a storyline that the players will be able to play as a movie. The game promises to bring in the oldest and most famous characters including Scorpion and Sub Zero and will span 25 years as it ties the veterans to the newcomers. Do not be surprised if you see allegiances change and combatants previously thought dead to return back to the world of the living.

“It’s a direct continuation, but the timespan it crosses is 25 years in length,” Boon explained regarding Mortal Kombat X’s storyline back in 2014 when interviewed by IGN. “There are periods that are directly after MK9, then there are periods that are five, ten, 15 and 20 years out. A lot of the events take place 25 years after where we see older versions of the characters, like Cassie Cage and all that. But it does jump around in time; it’s not a linear thing.”

Mortal Kombat X hits PC, PS4 and Xbox One on the 14th of April and a little later for PS3 and Xbox 360.
