Overwatch will soon be releasing a new Assault map, Paris. It is not on live servers yet, but players can test it out in Overwatch's test servers PTR. It is the newest map to release since Busan, which was released in September 2018. It is also the newest Assault map since 2017's Horizon Lunar Colony.

There was no trailer or any special announcement, only this tweet drop from Blizzard's Overwatch account. Maybe we'll get a trailer when it's out of testing.

We don't quite know when the Paris map is releasing on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Maps are play tested for bugs and changes by other players so that the Blizzard developers can patch them in. Maybe they will release it around Valentine's day to go with the "romantic" theme of the map.

There is a particular piano in the map that players seem to be really raging about. Here's a player playing Sugar Fairy Plum on the piano, Welcome to the Black Parade and Darude - Sandstorm. The piano got so many posts all over Reddit and Twitter and some people are already sick of it.

Blizzard showed the map's "narrow streets and corridors", as well as locations like the Seine river, the Pâtisserie Galand, Cabaret Luna, and Maison Marat which is described as “a grand palace hosting a gala in the heart of the city.”

The new hero Ashe has also only been added only a couple of months ago. It seems like Overwatch is getting regular updates now, having much larger gaps before. It took a while for Doomfist to release, followed by Moira and Brigitte along with the new map Busan. But they usually announce new heroes, maps or features right after a seasonal event (Lunar New Year is still going, ending on February 18).
