Phil Robb discusses the plans for the upcoming DLC for Evolve

The open beta for the game has started.

Turtle Rock Studios are ready to take all possible measures to make their upcoming enterprise becomes a total hit and to ensure their path in this plan they have evidently stated that they will be releasing a DLC for the game soon after the its release. The players who will place their pre-orders for the game’s Season Passes and Special Editions will get an early access of the content that will feature in the DLC especially the new set of hunters and monsters they plan to debut in the game.

With the game’s blog raving with announcements on the subject of the DLC, many fans expressed their discontent towards this idea of the enterprise. However, Turtle Rock’s Phil Robb took the centerstage by issuing a lengthy explanation as to why they have headed on this path of creating the DLC for the game. He defended the idea by explaining that this decision has been taken in the interest of the players to make the game more enjoyable and full of fresh, exciting content. Since the cost of developing a DLC is lot more that the real game they have taken this additional task to improve the experience for the players.

The Open Beta of the game for Xbox One has commenced, the beta will also release for PC and PS4 owners later this week.
