PMCO 2019 Fall Split Global Finals, the World's biggest PUBG Mobile tournament, is set to begin on 29th November. The three-day event will see 16 teams from different countries competing for the trophy and a prize pool of 500,000 USD.

ILLUMINATE The Murder is a PUBG Mobile team under ILLUMINATE Esports, a multi-gaming organization based in Thailand. They bagged the second spot in the Southeast Asian Regional Finals with 188 points and three chicken dinners.

The organization was initially named as the OneShine Esports. Later on, they joined Partypat to form ILLUMINATE Esports, formally known as The Murder. After their overwhelming performance in tournaments since 2018, the team is currently gearing up for the PMCO Fall Split Global Finals 2019.

Current Achievements

Team ILLUMINATE began their competitive run in January 2019, with the Thailand Esports Challenge their first tournament. Ever since then, the team has been unstoppable. They've played ten tournaments, placing among the top three eight times. Here's the list of their recent achievements:

Current Line-Up

Here is the current active line-up that will play the PMCO Fall Split 2019:

  • Tinnapop Benjawong: Commonly known by his IGN MARTIN, he is the leader of the team. Martin is a sniper and a scout for the team. He joined the ILLUMINATE in March 2019.
  • Aekachai Areesanan: Popularly known as MADTOI, he usually takes up the role of support and scout in the team. He is the oldest active player in ILLUMINATE and has a massive fanbase.
  • Sompong Kaewsawang: Recognized as GODDARD, he joined the team with Martin and Armjone and is currently an assaulter of ILLUMINATE.
  • Manun Yaepsungnoen: Commonly known by his IGN ARMJoNe, he is currently an assaulter of the team along with Goddard. He began playing for DooZy Gaming and I Do Not Sleep before switching to ILLUMINATE The Murder in March 2019.

Points Strategy and Team Performance

Unlike the previous tournaments where the place points were given more importance, PMCO Fall Split 2019 begun laying emphasis on kills. This worked well for ILLUMINATE in the Group Stages and the Regional Finals. They played aggressively throughout the group stage and regional finals and pocketed a total of 83 kills in the latter tournament that helped them climb to the second spot.

The teams sole motive was to attack other players as much as possible and bag kills. Some matches at the SEA Regional Finals saw just one player alive and yet, they managed to stick to their plan of prioritizing attack. Given their history of attack, ILLUMINATE's aggression can become quite dangerous for the other teams playing in the PMCO Global Finals 2019.

ILLUMINATE bagged the second spot in the League Stage and continued their performance in the Regional Finals, securing a direct entry in the PMCO Fall Split 2019 Global Finals with three chicken dinners and 188 points.
