Pokemon GO: How to complete "A Challenging Development"

Pokemon GO has been on a spree of Team Go Rocket quests and tasks since they've begun "invading" the world around. You have to complete a few sets of Research Tasks and battle Cliff, Arlo, and Sierra - a trio of Team Go Rocket Leaders in order to reach the boss Giovanni.

Two previous quests in October and November called Looming in the Shadows and A Troubling Situation were ongoing. You will need to have completed those quests if you wish to do the challenges in "A Challenging Development", a storyline quest that leads you to Giovanni.

As you continue your hunt for Team Rocket and freeing Shadow Pokemon, you'll also get a chance to catch "Shadow Zapdos" if you have defeated Giovanni. Shadow Pokemon are a lot stronger than regular Pokemon, so be prepared.

There are 6 steps in "A Challenging Development" challenges and only 2 are available right now. More will follow soon as they update. Here are the current challenges and rewards.

'A Challenging Development' Step 1 of 6

• Spin 10 PokéStops (500 XP)
• Defeat 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts (500 XP)
• Catch 1 Shadow Pokémon (500 XP)

Rewards: 500 Stardust, 10 Pokéballs, 10 Razz Berries

'A Challenging Development' Step 2 of 6

• Spin a PokéStop 5 days in a row (750 XP)
• Purify 15 Shadow Pokémon (750 XP)
• Win 5 raids (750 XP)

Rewards: 1,000 Stardust, 3 Hyper Potions, 3 Revives
