PUBG Mobile players have been facing a bug where they are not being able to log in to their accounts. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is a massive title, and it does see its fair share of glitches. It would be unfair to run the developers down for inconveniences that pop up from time to time. Login issues are not that common, but they are not non-existent.

Players have been reporting a login issue in PUBG Mobile that is preventing them from accessing their accounts. If you can’t log in, you will not be able to play the game. This can get frustrating, especially if the issue persists for hours at a stretch.

In this article, we will discuss how you can fix the "Server Authentication Error" in the game.

We will also look at how long you might have to wait before Krafton fixes this login issue in PUBG Mobile.

How to fix the Server Authentication Error Login Failed issue in PUBG Mobile?

The official X account of PUBG Mobile published a login issue notice that said the following:

"We are aware of issues that are preventing some players from logging in and connecting to the PUBG MOBILE servers starting 10/14 07:35(UTC+0). We are currently investigating the issue and will post updates as more information and fixes are available. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience!"

While some players are claiming that the bug has been fixed, others are still facing login issues. We have come up with some possible fixes for the Server Authentication Error in the game.

Restart your device

This solution has stood tested and true for ages now. More often than not, a simple reboot of your device can fix most of the issues you run into.

So, try switching off your device and turning it back on. Once done, try logging back into your account. The problem might get fixed.

Check your internet connection

Sometimes, login issues may arise from a faulty internet connection. Restarting your router or mobile data can probably fix this.

Update your game

This can be a solution if you are not on the latest version of PUBG Mobile. Update your game from the App Store or Play Store. This might solve the login issue.

If the issue is on Krafton’s end, nothing you do will resolve it. So, make sure the servers are up and running properly.

Tab into the official social media platforms of the game to check if they have reported server maintenance notices. If you find that they have, it is best to wait for the time duration mentioned in the notice.

Disable or enable VPN while logging in

Some people might fix their login issues by connecting to a VPN. If you are already using one, disconnecting the proxy connection might help you fix the login problem.

Contact the support team
