The game is quickly adding more and more regions.

PUBG PC Lite is a game predominantly aimed at the Asian audience who are fans of the battle royale genre, but are unable to play the PC version given the high specifications the game demands.

With only one map currently - Erangel - other maps are set to be added in the future after global release as the developers have made it a priority to bring the game to more regions as quickly as possible.

Game's regions quickly expanding

The game is expanding its regions very quickly. Initially released in the beta phase for Thailand, it has since been announced that four more regions in South East Asia have been included.

They are: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore over the course of today, Wednesday February 13. Now, they have announced the game for five more regions - making the total number of countries to nine.

In an announcement on the game's official site, it was announced that the PUBG Lite Beta test will be expanding to Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. The official announcement reads:

"Hello Players, today we announce that the PUBG LITE Beta Test will be further expanding the service to Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, in addition to Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
It may take players a while to download the game since our service will expand to an additional 9 countries. Therefore, we plan to open the pre-download page on February 13th to allow players download the game beforehand."

If you are in one of the countries mentioned above, you can download the game here. The swift manner in which regions are being added makes us speculate that a global release is not far away either. As for India, the game will most certainly be arriving here shortly as there are a huge number of gamers patiently waiting for a release date.
