Rebellion announces Zombie Army Trilogy

Rebellion has announced that Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army (a spin-off of Sniper Elite V2 but with zombies) will be coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC platforms early this year. The third-person shooter title will be out for current-gen consoles for the first time as Zombie Army Trilogy, which is a remastered bundle containing Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army, Nazi Zombie 2, a new horde mode, and a new entry in the series, Nazi Zombie Army 3.

Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army has players battle an army of undead Nazi super soldiers lead by a zombie Hitler in an alternate version of World War II (which kind of sounds like a script for a terrible action film). The trilogy features fifteen campaign missions, eight playable characters, five horde maps and four new female characters. The website for the game states that players can expect “terrifying new enemies, animations, graphical effects".

Though I am not sure how the Trilogy will benefit owners of the previous two games, as purchasing the bundle seems to be the only way that players can get their hands Nazi Zombie Army 3. A new standalone version of the game has not been announced so far. But luckily Rebellion is offering a loyalty discount to owners of the previous two games.

The Zombie Trilogy will be discounted for players who own the first two Nazi Zombie Army games. You can check out the discounts below:

  • 60% off Zombie Army Trilogy if you own both Nazi Zombie Army 1 and 2
  • 30% off Zombie Army Trilogy if you own either Nazi Zombie Army 1 or 2

The game is being self-published by developers Rebellion and is currently available to pre-order via Steam or the Rebellion Gemstore. It is slated to release on the 6th of March. You can check out the trailer below:
