Resident Evil: Revelations 2 release delayed by a week

The release of Capcom’s upcoming episodic horror adventure title, Resident Evil: Revelations 2, has been delayed by a week. The game was originally scheduled to release on February 17th but has now been delayed to February 25th for “additional polishing work and gameplay optimisation."

The games subsequent episodes will roll out on March 4, 11, and 18 respectively. A full retail version consisting of all four episodes is slated to release on March 20th in Europe and on March 18th in North America.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be set between the events of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 and sees the return of fan favourite Claire Redfield as a new employee for Terra Save, an anti-bioterrorism organisation. Redfield will be joined by a new protagonist Moira Burton, daughter of Barry Burton.

The two have been abandoned on a remote island and will have to work together in order to survive. You can check out the PS4 gameplay trailer below:
