Sachin Saga: 5 ridiculously underrated players in Sachin Tendulkar's latest game

Australia v India: Carlton Mid ODI Tri Series - Game 2
R Sharma

Sachin Tendulkar just released his latest game, Sachin Saga Cricket Champions a couple days back on both Android and iOS. The game has been well received by fans who have been waiting anxiously for the game to release after the beat version dropped on 9th October earlier this year.

#5 Rohit Sharma (India)

Rohit Sharma, who scored his third double century in ODIs is one of the players who's ratings clearly are not reflective of his ability. Sharma is the only player to score a double century in ODI 3 times. However, he has been given a batting rating of mere 138, this rating does not do justice to how explosive he can be in limited overs cricket.

#4 Anil Kumble (India)

First Test - India v South Africa: Day 1
Anil Kumble

Legendary Indian leg spinner Anil Kumble also has a very underrated card on Sachin Saga. 'Jumbo', as he is fondly called, is remembered for his exploits in Test cricket, most notably taking 10 wickets in an innings vs arch-rivals Pakistan. Anil Kumble also served as the head coach of Team India before he was replaced by Ravi Shastri

Kumble's bowling rating is just 158, which is very low when compared to some of the other bowlers who are arguably not as good as him. It will be fair if the game developers increase Kumble's rating in a subsequent update.

#3 David Warner (Australia)

Australia v England: Game 3
Warner in ODI's

Warner is another explosive top order batsman who has been given a fairly low rating given his ability to rip into opposition bowling attacks early on. The Australian opener has shown his destructive best in the shorter formats of the game. He has excelled for every franchise he has played for in the Indian Premier League too.

David Warner's batting rating is just 132, which is astounding because some batsmen who have been given better ratings than him are nowhere close to him in terms of sheer batting ability. Apart from batting, Warner is an exceptional fielder. Despite this, he is only a 3-star player which is a shame.

#2 VVS Laxman (India)

VVS Laxman
VVS Laxman

One of India's finest middle order batsman to have ever played, VVS Laxman's rating on the game is ridiculously low. Laxman is one of the very few players who have played 100 Test matches for India. Surrounded by a star-studded middle order lineup, his place in the Indian side was sometimes doubtful, but he always responded with gritty knocks.

Laxman is also very well known for scoring his famous innings where he scored 281 runs at the Eden Gardens, which led to one of India's most famous Test wins against Australia. He has been given a rating of mere 118 points. There are far too many batsmen who have been rated above Laxman, which is very unfair on the part of the game developers. Laxman's rating certainly deserves a boost.

#1 Rahul Dravid (India)

England v India: 1st npower Test - Day Three
Rahul Dravid

He is often fondly called 'The Wall' for his gritty style of batting. Some even consider Dravid to be the best Test batsman who has ever gone on to play for India. Rahul Dravid had an exemplary career as a cricketer and went on to have numerous partnerships over the years that gave India some famous victories. Dravid's 331-run ODI partnership with Sachin Tendulkar still stands as the highest partnership in ODI's for any wicket.

His rating in Sachin Saga is a measly 155 and he is a 4-star player. Rahul Dravid belongs to the same category of players like Sourav Ganguly, Ricky Ponting and Sachin himself. However, his ratings certainly don't reflect this.
