For some, Gyoubu Oniwa might be the first main boss of the game if they ignored the Hirata State mission, which consisted of the battles with Lady Butterfly and Juzou the Drunkard.

Easiest boss in the game if you're careful.

Now Gyoubu Oniwa might seem very daunting at first, but is undoubtedly the easiest boss battle in this entire game. You can easily take him down in one or two attempts.

What made taking Lady Butterfly a slow and a difficult process was her Posture, which filled relatively low because her reflexes were too fast. You had to first take down her vitality half way down to even start spamming her posture. That doesn't happen with Gyoubu Oniwa, which makes him easy prey.

You can deflect almost every attack he throws at you without filling much of your posture.

Now for starters, keep one finger on your L1( PS4) to deflect any and every attack. Almost every attack Gyoubu Oniwa brings into the fight can be easily deflected without filling too much of your posture, so feel free to do that.

To make things even easier use Flame barrel or Robert's Firecracker prosthetic weapon.

Now, you can do major damage to him every time he's near you by attacking his horse. You can also, however, spook the same by using the flame barrel or the 'Robert's Firecracker' prosthetic weapons. This stuns Gyoubu Oniwa for a couple of seconds, in which you can put in plenty of attacks.

Keep repeating them and very easily his posture meter will be full. You can then snap his neck and finish the job. This fight will barely take more than 2-3 minutes of time unlike most of the other bosses in the game.

At some point of the battle, you can also use your grappling hook to jump over Gyoubu Oniwa and it will stop him off from running away, giving you enough time to put in some attacks.
