From Software's latest action adventure title Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice apparently won't be releasing in India physically. The news comes from multiple retailers throughout the country which spoke to Gadgets360 regarding the game's physical copies.

Apparently Activision- the publisher of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is unable to match the game's price online on PS store, Microsoft store as well as Steam.

This news comes as an utter shock to the die-hard fans of From Software games who have been eagerly waiting for their latest adventure to take us back in 16th century Japan during the Sengoku period, the ones who still like collecting the game in its disk version. I, myself was eagerly waiting to buy the Steelbook edition of the game on launch but as of now it seems like importing it from afar seems the only case.

Keep in mind that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is not the only big AAA title not to release in India. The likes of Dead Rising 4 on Xbox One, Persona 5 on the PS4 and Insomniac Games' Ratchet and Clank received the same fate not long ago.

It's funny how Activision tends to overprice their games in India when it comes to the likes of their annual Call of Duty titles when other big publishers are still releasing their games at the standard rate- for example, Red Dead Redemption 2 which launched at Rs 3,999.

Nevertheless, if you still want to buy Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice in India, you can get it digitally at Rs.3,999.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice follows the story of Sekiro- a shinobi who is found partially dead during a battle against Ashina Clan. The story revolves around him trying to find his Lord who was kidnapped by a leading Samurai.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is out 22 March 2019 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
