Silence: The Whispered World II coming to PlayStation 4

It has been reported that the new adventure game, Silence: The Whispered World II, by Daedalic Entertainment will be coming to PS4. The game Silence had already been announced for Xbox One back in October, and for PC and Mac at last year's E3.

This game has been created in a belief that fantasy games are still alive. Daedalic's love of the genre portrays the company’s belief as they announced that "there’s a lot of room for modernisation within the genre," while remaining true to the genre's roots. The game will be featuring a unique visual style which has been created by using a process called the "camera projection."

Daedalic Entertainment stated, "We place 3D objects and 3D characters in 3D environments, but then project 2D art on everything”. This dual-purpose technique gives the company an advantage to maintain the high-level of detail of hand drawn art while reaping the benefits of 3D game design.

Daedalic is also said to be redesigning the game's cursor, and will offer a mix of control options for the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
