Spooky Pumpkaboo - A special Pokemon for Halloween

31st October is nearing close and Nintendo have a special halloween treat for Pokemon X & Y players. A Spooky Pumkaboo has been made available which can be obtained till the end of October via the Nintendo Network. This Pumpkaboo has special moves such as “trick or treat” and “scary face”,that are themed around the Halloween season. The Pokémon X&Y official page made the following announcement:

Celebrate the Halloween season with Pumpkaboo! You can get this special Ghost- and Grass-type Pokémon via Nintendo Network distribution during the month of October. This Super Size Pumpkaboo comes with moves that fit the Halloween theme, including Trick-or-Treat and Scary Face. Plus, it’s holding a Rocky Helmet, which can cause damage to its attacker!

When traded, this Pokémon evolves into Gourgeist, which is the Pokémon you need to compete in the Trick-or-Treat Friendly. Trade Pumpkaboo with a friend so you’re both ready to compete!

Pumpkaboo is available via Nintendo Network for your Pokémon X or Pokémon Y game from October 1 through October 31. Don’t miss this opportunity to get a special Pumpkaboo and have a happy Halloween!

To download the special Pokémon just follow these steps:

• Select MYSTERY GIFT on the main menu, and then RECEIVE GIFT. Select YES to confirm.
• Select Get Via Internet, then Yes.
• Watch as you receive Pumpkaboo!
• Speak to the delivery girl in any Pokémon Center to receive Pumpkaboo.
• Be sure to save your game!

The last step is very important since the Pokémon will be lost if you fail to save after receiving him from the delivery girl. Be sure not to miss out. Heres a video featuring Pumpkaboo:
