#2 Not an open world game

As much as disappointing it may sound to some, the upcoming Jedi Fallen Order won't be an open world game. This is mainly because the studio is delving into this game with a new team and a new engine. However, according to the game director- Stig Asmussen, it won't be a short experience. The game will feature multiple open areas for the players to explore, much like the 2018's God Of War which also focused on adding open-ended areas while telling a linear story. This is actually good news because the team wants to give the players a 'quality experience.'

The game takes place in a new planet called Bracca in the mid rim, which serves as the home to the Scrapper guild where ships are made and broken into debris.

#3 Focus on melee/lightsaber combat

Jedi Fallen Order is not a stealth game as confirmed by EA. The focus is on making the players feel like a Jedi and hence the game's main focus is on melee combat. Throughout the game's story, Cal will learn different force abilities as well as indulge in lightsaber battles with his nemesis. The lightsaber will also grow with Cal throughout the game. This might indicate to the lightsaber changing colours or performing different manoeuvres as you progress through the game. However, game director Stig Asmussen has also confirmed that the combat in the game won't limit itself to button smashing, rather take you through a very 'thoughtful' approach.
