Steam is starting off their Lunar New Year Sale in light of the Chinese New Year (Year of the Pig) that starts today, February 5th. Ubisoft also started a similar sale on their Uplay platform. Now is your chance to pick up as many games as possible (and then never play a bunch of them again).

This is one of Steam's many sales that they hold throughout the year. They also have discounts on games during spring, summer, autumn and winter. You can pick up some AAA titles such as Grand Theft Auto V for 50% or you can get a bunch of indie games for much cheaper as well. If you are a patient gamer, you can get some older titles such as Batman: Arkham Knight, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Payday 2, Life is Strange 2 and more for ridiculously low prices. The Year of the Pig has brought us some auspicious sales!

You will not be able to get fresh new titles (such as Anthem) or expansions of titles that are newly released (such as Civilization VI: Gathering Storm) on discount just yet. To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Steam is offering a bunch of Chinese made games on discount. They also released the game Train Simulator 2019 in Chinese with a special price.

Similar to the Ubisoft sale, you can also get Assassin's Creed: Odyssey at 50% off as well. You will also receive an additional discount for your first purchase above $10 (one time only). This is only applicable if you buy the game for yourself, not as a gift.

You can check out the Steam Store for all the highlighted discounts and a full list of games that are on sale. The sale will be available till February 11, so be sure to hoard up all the games you can by then!
